California Campus Compact (CACC) has been in existence since 1988 and currently includes 58 member institutions. CACC affords its members a wide range of benefits, both directly to constituents on campuses, and indirectly through our work with other organizations

Grant Programs and Giving |
CACC has distributed approximately a half million in grants to member campuses over the past 7 years, despite executive leadership changes and consistent budget tightening. |
Cross-sector Collaboration |
CACC regularly facilitates and encourages cross-campus networking and collaboration among faculty, staff and other campus leaders. CACC is one of very few state-based membership organizations that intentionally includes members from all sectors of higher education. |
Staff and Faculty Development |
CACC provides a variety of professional development and technical assistance services, which have reached over 10,000 faculty, staff, administrators, students, community organizations and community residents since 1988. Examples include our Faculty Institutes, Engaged Department Institutes and Chief Academic Officer gatherings; on site consultations, including in-service workshops for faculty, staff and community partners; special events and focus group coordination on timely topics; complimentary publications; and our resource e-mail newsletter. CACC annually awards the Richard E. Cone Award for Excellence & Leadership in Cultivating Community Partnerships in Higher Education in recognition of significant contributions made to the development of partnerships between an institution of higher education and the communities surrounding the campus. |
