Howard R Swearer Student Humanitarian Award

National Campus Compact

Informational Calls for Swearer and Newman awards: California Campus Compact will be hosting 2 informational calls for students, faculty, and service-learning directors interested in learning more about these two student awards, including the nomination process, elements of a strong application, and more. The calls are scheduled on February 27 from 11 am - 12 pm and March 12 from 12 pm - 1 pm. Please RSVP by Tuesday February 26 to ann@cacampuscompact.org to participate in a call and receive the call-in phone number.

Each year since 1987, Campus Compact member presidents are invited to nominate one student for this prestigious award. Five students are selected to receive this distinguished award for their outstanding public service along with $1,500 to help strengthen or sustain the service program of their design or choice. 2008 Call for Nominations
