Building Partnerships for a Better California: Youth to College Initiative — Building Partnerships for a Better California: Youth to College Initiative (Y2C), is embarking on the second year of a three year initiative, designed to help to raise the percentage of lower-income and disadvantaged youth preparing for and succeeding in college. |

CACC-Carnegie Foundation Faculty Fellows: Service-Learning for Political Engagement Program — This two-year fellowship is aimed at bringing tenure or tenure track faculty together to design and implement a service-learning course geared towards increasing students' understanding, skills, and motivation for political engagement. Nomination Deadline is March 30, 2007. |

Civic Engagement at Research I Institutions* — This program helps member Research I institutions implement civic engagement and service-learning programs to meet the needs of their local communities. During the 2005-06 year we hosted a series of colloquia, a Spring Symposium, and we provided subgrants to member institutions to develop model programs. *re: 1994 Carnegie Classification. In 2006-07 we hosted a second series of colloquia. |

Community-Campus Partnership Research Project — In Spring 2005, CACC hosted 15 community partner focus groups with the goal of listening to the partners to better understand and strengthen these partnerships. |

Subgrant Programs — CACC supports institutions by providing funding for innovative programs that promotes civic education through service learning, teacher preparation and partnership development. |

Training & Technical Assistance Workshops — Throughout the year, CACC conducts training and workshops to help member campuses get the most out of their programs. |

Students In Service — This program helps member institutions implement civic engagement and service-learning programs by giving higher education students an opportunity to earn an educational award while serving in their community. |

Connecting Californians — Started in October 2006, this program taps into the resources and skills that many volunteers in California possess and can contribute to our members' Service-Learning and Community Engagement Offices. |

Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service Grants — This program helps engage higher education students to facilitate service-learning activities with K-12 students, particularly those in disadvantaged situations. These service-learning activities will incorporate an event on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service, and otherwise emphasize the King Holiday. |

Federal Work Study Community Service Resources — This program supports member institutions implementing civic engagement and service-learning programs by connecting Federal Work Study to campus community service program. |

Civic Engagement - CalSAC Program — This program assists member institutions implementing civic engagement and service-learning programs by developing the leadership skills of California's higher education students. |

Fundamentals of Service-Learning Course Construction — This workshop was designed to assist faculty in integrating service into an existing course or in constructing a new course using service-learning. Attended by 20 people representing 10 campuses/organizations. |

The Artful Partnership: Advancement and Community Service Learning — California Campus Compact and CSU Chancellor's Office facilitated this workshop on building developmental relationship on- and off-campus. Attended by 60 people representing 35 campuses/organizations. |

Civic Engagement and Service Learning: A Forum for Reflection and Dialogue — California Campus Compact facilitated 6 forums, attended by 120 service learning practitioners from 50 schools. |

IDEAS Program — IDEAS (Initiatives on Diversity, Equity And Service) was a project for California independent colleges and universities and their students, faculty and communities focusing on the integration of diversity education and service learning. |

New Voters Project — California Campus Compact was a partner in the New Voters Project - an effort to increase 18-24 year-old voter participation by 5 percent in the November 2004 elections. |
