Northern California Regional Colloquium: Engaged Scholarship - Linking University Research and Engagement

THE UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA, Davis is hosting a one-day colloquium to examine challenges and opportunities in transforming university civic engagement into engaged scholarship. How can engagement practices also become scholarship? Specific attention will be given to research models, community partnerships, and institutional programs and policies that either do or could promote the bridging of university civic engagement practice and engaged scholarship research. The program includes a break out session and poster sessions.

All Graduate Students (regardless of CACC membership): Free
Representatives from CACC member institutions: Free
Representatives from non-CACC member institutions: $40

Driving Directions:

From the East or West: Take I-80 to the Richards Blvd. exit (Downtown Davis). Turn North on Richards Blvd. and proceed under the railroad overpass. At the stoplight (First Street) turn left. Continue four blocks on First Street and turn left on "A" Street. Proceed to the next stop sign. Parking lot 5A is located directly ahead. The University Club is located down a short path behind the large pine trees at the opposite side of the parking lot & is adjacent to Solano Soccer field.

From the North or South: Take Hwy 113 to I-80 West. Then follow the directions above.

Parking Passes:

For those registering by February 15th, parking passes will be provided to you for free by mail. If you register after February 15th, you will need to purchase a visitor parking pass when you get to campus. You may purchase a parking pass from the machine located in the parking lot adjacent to the University Club. Visitor parking passes are $6 and correct change is needed. Please pay close attention to all parking lot signage as the lots are monitored regularly.
